COVID-19 Health &
The safety of our attendees and staff is our top priority. We are working closely with the Duke Energy Center and monitoring recommendations from local and state authorities regarding events.
Our decision to host the Additive Manufacturing Conference & Expo at the Duke Energy Convention Center (DECC) was supported by their actions taken in response to the COVID-19 pandemic including mask requirements, increased signage, upgraded touch-less technology, 12'-15' aisles and following recommended room capacities. Guidelines are subject to change and we will continue to work with the DECC and monitor recommendations from local and state authorities regarding events.
The DECC was the first facility in the State of Ohio to receive a Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) STAR accreditation. As the cleaning industry’s only outbreak prevention, response, and recovery accreditation, GBAC STAR™ helps organizations establish protocols and procedures, offers expert-led training, and assesses a facility’s readiness for biorisk situations. The program verifies that Duke Energy Convention Center implements best practices to prepare for, respond to and recover from outbreaks and pandemics. Learn more about GBAC STAR accreditation at www.gbac.org.
