Chicago, IL | June 13, 2019 | Co-located with Amerimold 2019
The Additive Manufacturing Workshop for Plastics is an immersive, half-day event focused on the effects of 3D printing technology on production. After the success of the inaugural event at NPE 2018, we are bringing the workshop to Amerimold, home of moldmaking and plastics processing.
Discussion about the changing economics of additive when it comes to production. What kinds of parts make sense now? What kinds of quantities? Where is 3D printing an alternative to injection molding? How should manufacturers in the plastics space be thinking about this? How will manufacturing of polymer parts change as polymer AM becomes cheaper and faster? Does it make sense for molders or moldmakers to cultivate this capability? What should companies consider when comparing costs of conventional to additive?
